I honestly don't remember who makes those wheels. I saved the picture awhile back. Those Gellos would look awesome with the matched painted caps.

I've always loved big chrome wheels, it's become so common now that I really want to go to painted wheels, or even a superlight BBS or Magnesium wheel.

So far I've found a few wheels I think will look good on my white Armada. Too hard to deciede right now.

the tire rack website has a feature where you can choose the armada and color of your truck and stick any wheels you wanna see on your truck. pretty cool.. i just didn't like any of the wheels they have.

So were you just looking for something different or do plan to put some off road tread on that thing. Looks pretty cool reguardless just curious about your mods. I was thinking about large rubber on 22's myself for something different but I want to lower mine instead.

I like the look of that lift. Did it change your ride at all?

Bad Pic...But show the wheels some. 400 miles after getting these on I just noticed a picked up a screw in one of the tires....Yay.

I was originally going to get 20's with A/T tires something like 92TripleBlack's setup with a lift in the future. After getting the PRG, I didn't think that I needed to go any higher. So I changed my mind and went with the 22's. I figured I would be on the road most of the year. I am just either going to use my stock 18's or if I can find some cheap 17's to put some A/T tires on for those paths taken not on smooth ground. I like the BT mirrors much better than the regular mirrors. HAHA, I think it turned out okay. Now I am trying to complete the iinterior.

In my opinion, the ride is actually better.

I've been lookng at that third one real hard for a long time. I can't make my mind up about it either. I graphically put that model in size 20 on my SE in PHotoshop and they really looked cool. BUT! I really like the massivness of the standard LE wheels and can't find a similar in 20 inch. I'm very decided on not going any larger than 20 inch as I would like to keep the wheel pakage on year round and not loose any handling performance. I'll see if I find the photo with that wheel superimposed on my SE and email it. Maybe it's my taste, but black wheels on the BEAST don't really enhance the overall appearance. Wheels are suppose to pop and be very visual with a compliment to the shape and design of the body. But then, trends do change fro some.

I believe I found that wheel pic. The attached is photoshop superimposed on my SE. I also added a similer wheel called the Mirage. It has gold tips. Think It's getting too overkill for me. Like just he chrome look. Let me know what you think? :confused:

Other than getting "screwed" very nice wheels. The thin spoke design is very crisp and clean. Understated flash, very nice.

Nice. Gold tips are kind of cool, and you don't see them everyday. I would paint the running boards and the roof rack black though if you go with gold tips - otherwise too many colors going on. Just keep it to black, gold and chrome (or go with all chrome wheels). Just my .02. The other thing is gold probably goes better with black than any other color.

paint the wheel and go w/a chrome web?
