As luck would have it, my Gibson Stainless single exhaust will be delivered by FedEx on Saturday but the CAI will not be here until Tuesday. Will it be OK to install it b4 the CAI? Or should I wait and install it all at once? Just don't want it to affect the motor adversely. Course the computer should figure it all out and not let it run improperly anyway.

Sure, go ahead and install the Gibson. No problem installing the CAI later. You can reset the ECM after that if you like.
A suggestion on the Gibson install. The nuts on the flanges at the cats are very tight from the factory. Soak them in a penetrating oil before you remove them. Also be sure to use the correct size metric socket on the nuts, nothing else. Do not attempt to remove the nuts with a open end wrench, or, God fobid, Vise Grips or Channel Locks!
I think you will find it is easier to install the tail pipe with the spare removed. But don't tighten the clamps until you have the spare back in place. Rotate the muffler and tail pipe to be sure everything clears OK then tighten the clamps. Also notice there is a in and out on the muffler. The inlet is marked.

Thanks so much SCR! Can't wait...am sure the sound will be great, but she will really open up to her potential with the CAI. Do you have the Volant/Gibson combo? Seems like you have replied to another thread about this (oh so common) question.

Yes, I have the Volant/Gibson SS Single. I am very pleased with the combo.
0-60 in 6.106 sec; 1/4 mile in 14.69 at 94.2.
