I looking into installing the Pioneer AVIC-N1 system into the dash above the current Armada Bose head / integrated mess that is in the dash. Has anyone tried to install a normal 1-din size head unit above the current indash system?

Seems like a pretty nice unit, and integrating the AUX jack with a AUX switcher to use/share the current speaker system.

In the dash above the current system? That is definately different. That would take a lot of custom modling... Good luck on this!! Let us know what you come up with.
