I owned a Nissan-Quest, But like you already know it was too defective, after so many frequent visits to the Nissan service deparment I started chit-chating with the workers. Now I own a Nissan Armada se 4x4 for about 4 months(so far so lovely). I went to get an appt. for the paint protection plan( You know wanna show it off for a long time :cool: )SO in a lil convo. with the workers form the Service department, I asked them " Are there any known problems with the Armada?" and They Said "Acctualy, Yes, the Armada had a Brake Problem,and I dont know why it hasnt been Re-called"
Now if after hearing this I asked " When I presence this problems do I just go back annd get it fixed?" they said " Sure but we have to put you in a LONG, LOng, Long Waiting List." :eek:

You see that wasn't so bad. Later i asked them if I could put in some out of market Brake Pads,So they said "Sure but the Brake Insurace will Cancel." :mad:

Now what do You have to say? Don't you think this Blows?

If you read any previous posts regarding main Armada issues it would have been very evident that the brakes were the weak link. There is a rumored recall for the QX and Armada that is supposed to happen in April of 05.

I wasn't aware of any paint protection plan, care to elaborate? The reason I am holding off on replacing any brake components is because of the warranty issues. If after 36K miles (and on my dime) the brakes are still a problem then I'll look into an aftermarket solution.

RKS when I got my Titan I got the paint protection plan for free. Its a card that comes in the mail a few weeks after purchase. Its good for 1 free paint protection service every 6 months for the first 36000 miles I believe. I guess its basically a really good wax job.

for mine i had to pay. But iI think it was worhted because they clean the interior of the truck. I think it pays for it self ;)
