Hi all,

I purchased an 04 Armada a couple weeks ago. So far I love it. I had a Mitsubishi Montero previously. One question I have is on the navigation system. Is there a way to have it start up and go directly to the map without having to enter on the "I AGREE" option? Not that it's a big deal to hit the button all the time but I should only have to agree a few times to make it legal.

You may want to read the discussion at the link below and then try to contact "Generator". He developed a modification for the MURANO's NAV screen doing exactly what you are looking for. I believe his application would also work for the Armada......He would be able to verify that.

THere is a similar fix available for the Armada -- I read it on another forum last year -- and basically it amounts to putting a microcontroller on there to perform the "I agree" function for you. I never did it, because I wasn't ready to pull off all the plastic on my dash...although...if I get motivated this spring...I may. I'll see if I can dig up the link....

digging up an older thread here - have done searches and can't find answer. Does this mod work for Armada 07 LE? Is the circuit still for sale? If yes to both, does anyone have email or a link?
