Thought I'd post links to some wireless headphones that are reasonably priced and are fairly comfortable plus they work with the built in IR transmitter :D .

Hey, I've been wondering about this. Does the IR xmtr work with just the base audio system? I haven't tried any headphones with mine to see. If so, how do you know what brands or types will work with it?

If you have rear controls you should have the factory IR transmitter. You can verify for yourself by using the nightvision on a video camera. You'll see the trasmitter shine like a light bulb when you look at it through the night vision function. I'm 99.9999% sure you will have the transmitter.
I can't tell you how to determine which headphones work or not. I've only tried the Bravo one's I posted above and some sony mdr-0230's I've heard audiovox work. I think most must use the same signal so you are pretty safe with whatever one you get...just make sure it is IR and not RF.

Thanks for the headphone info. I just read the other post about the volume control too. That's cool, something I didn't know. For anyone who missed it, the user controls the volume on the wireless headphones, not the rear volume control.

I had the dealership install a dvd player in the back, can this be played through the factory speakers and if so, how do I do it?

If they did it correctly just push and hold the Rear AV button for more than 1.5 seconds. If they didn't install it correctly I have a how-to link in my signature.

I bought a cheap pair at Radio Shack, $20 with a transmitter, and they work great so I guess any IR type phones would work.
