I've fixed two major seat squeeks and here is how I did it.

The first squeek can be described as two crikets getting it on when there is no passenger in the seat. It's almost a constant squeek. To fix this one I removed the seat and put sound dampening material on the floor to act as a gasket between the seat and floor. It's been a couple of months since I did this and it hasn't come back. I used a material called Cascade but dynomat or something similliar that will not rub through easy would work.

The second squeek was when a passenger over about 150 lbs sat in the seat. It was more of a creak than squeek. I complained about this almost every trip to the dealer and their fix was to lubricate. Never did anything but make a mess. Well this morning I did some dective work and found these two bolts that weren't tight. I tightened them down snug and wala no more creak!

The photo below shows the inside bolt there is another on the door side too. This is the electric seat so I don't know if the manual ones have these bolts too. Anyway thought I'd share.

In addition to llajumpvid's discovery of the annoying sounds our seats are making, I also found another culprit that contributes to the noise. Apperently, Nissan used four tiny little screws to secure the seat synchronization tube to the U-brackets at the lower pivot point of the seat. To fix this problem
(Level 1), all you'll need is some thread locker and a screw driver. The picture I posted should be adequate to help you with the repair. I recommend taking the screws out one at a time, applying thread locker, and then reinstall the screw. Another way to fix it would require more tools and removal of the seat and it's components. When you used the cascade, did you use it under the four seat bolts that attach direclty to the floor of the vehicle or did you use it where the seat bolts to the rails?

thanks--I've tightened the bolts you displayed in your picture. The bolts are a bit different on a Titan but they are in the same area.

I put it on the floor under the seat frame, like a gasket.

Oh WOW! thanks I thought I was the only one with this problem... I even took it to the Nissan Service Dept. and do u think it was fixed.. umm nope!
And it sure is annoying.. especially if u plan on taking a long trip!!!

THANK YOU IMMENSELY for posting this fix. I almost did not buy my truck because of the squeaky passenger seat. Got the extended bumper to bumper warranty hoping that would fix it in a few months. Well 3 trips to the dealer and lots of frustration still not fixed. Warranty company said new seat was $2300 and that the dealer would have to take the old seat out and remove the cushions so they could inspect it for failure. The dealer wanted me to sign a 2.5 hour labor guarantee that if the warranty company said there were no failed parts than I was liable for the labor (which 2.5 hours was ridiculous.. worth one hour at best.) Anyway I have an appointment for Monday and decided before I endure more aggravation let me do more searching. I found this post went out and viola... no more squeaks.

Now if I only found this weeks ago I would have had a much better 800 mile trip in the truck and wouldn't have wasted 3 days at the dealer.
