GROAN! Another TSB on the front brakes. Not sure if my 06 is affected, so far I haven't heard the noise they refer to, and I don't have my VIN # handy to see if it falls under this. But, this sounds like what my 04 was doing before Nissan took it back.

Keith,

thanks for the info.

this is exactly what mine is doing, and it says 04-06, your SUV is included, but does that mean that we have to pay for this TSB or not? what do you think?

Unless you're out of warranty, I can't imagine they could charge you for the TSB. As far as mine being under this TSB, notice there is a SN cut-off, I'm not sure what my SN is, and I forgot to look last night.

I Just dropped mine at the dealer this morning for an oil change, and asked them to check out the TSB. I let you know what they say.

well, I just came back from the dealer, fortunately all went well, oil change, and the TSB, the resurfaced the rooters and replaced the front pads and hardware. I think I should be good for another 25000 miles :cool:Thanks Campfamily.

I just got my '05 SE brake update w/ the latest pad kit TSB today at 12,000 miles. Here are the part #'s:
2 40206-ZC01A Rotor Disc
1 41060-ZC027 Pad Kit (latest TBS)
1 44060-ZC025 Pad Kit-DI
4 41005-7S000 Bolt
PX25AA Bulletin Rotor OP

I thought I was at a Lexus dealer. The service was excellent. This was the first time to the dealer for the brake job. They even turned the rear rotors, too. They also performed BCM harness campaign NTB05-086.

I notice you have a camp trailer. Do you use your Armada to pull it? I'm considering purchasing an Armada and will be pulling a cargo trailer for my small business. Do you recommend? How does it pull?

My Armada pulls my trailer just great. Check out the Towing Sticky in the General Discussions section for more information on Towing with an Armada.

I have a trailer attached at LEAST 4 days a week, from 1500lbs to 8500lbs with tongue weights up to 600lbs......and I can ALWAYS pass a Tahoe..:)

Yeah just stopped by Staten Island Nissan. Hard to find, but the service was excellent compared to BayRidge Nissan. I have to sue BayRidge because they wanted to charge for Brake Job. Charged me a Diagnosis fee. I am shocked at the difference in quality of service.

Just had my TSB done. My front brakes were making a groaning noise, and the service rep was telling me it was the ABS system kicking in. I didnt even know what that meant! Anyways, long story short, dealer fixed the problem, and my brakes are better than ever.
