Very nice. I like the way you had everything painted to match the body color. If you don't mind me asking, how much was it to get them painted?

The black running board that lies on top the bumper and below the license plate. I never said it was bad...Like I said my ride has 24" and my tires are 285/40/24 so they are skinny too. I don't think the ride is bad at all...maybe it rattles a little more over very bumpy roads. :) But overall better. We just gotta watch out for those pot holes. lol ;)

Importz,
any idea how much your wheel/tire combo weighs? I love the big wheel dropped looks you've photoshopping.
I tried out some 26's and after 5 minutes of driving, I had to get them off the armada. Acceleration felt sluggish and ride was harsh. Not bad though, but enough to feel the difference. Here's a picture of the first wheel with tire mounted.

your armada is hard as hell! I thought mine was the **** (silver w/black 24's), but yours is bangin'! I did notice a SLIGHT ride difference with the 24's, but not too bad. Plus, it's worth it for the look. Good job, pimpin'. But, wait a minute......where's the BANG? C'mon man, I KNOW you got some beat in the back, right? It's incomplete until you get some hardcore subs and some serious wattage in ther, lol! I know you got it, I just need pics!!!

HA! I KNEW u had to have something in there! I can smell a true baller a mile away (real-recognize-real, u know)!!! All I can say is DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!! That's sweet as hell! How do those t2's sound? What amp(s) u got pushin' em? Are they underneath in the storage area? I went through that, and my amps got pretty hot. I still haven't added fans, lol! I had 2 jl 13w6's behind my 3rd row, and it wasn't enough bass for me. I've since said F#&* it and went with three 13w7's, and 4000 watts. At the expense of my 3rd row, but I guess I'm really bangin' now:rolleyes: , lol! I'll post pics in a minute here, you've inspired me!:) AND.........That was really ingenious the way u had the Head Unit mounted in the center there. I may have to bite outta your a$$ on that one!:D I have an alpine cda-9855 just sitting here 'cause nobody makes a dash kit yet for my '06. Seriously, that was dope as hell. U get mad props from me dawg!

Wait a minute. I just looked at your pics again and I noticed the bass knob for your Fosgate power series amp(s). I should've known. What do u got, a t30001bd? The new t40001bd? A couple of 3000's? Fill me in. I have 2 of the t30001bd's and I actually used one in my truck for a minute, and it is def. a strong amp. I've gone through a few amps, including a 5000 watt hifonics goliath that I still have to sell eventually, but I keep going back to the Lanzar opti 4000d. That thing puts out a ton of power. I KNOW u upgraded your alternator. What'd u get? I went with an iraggi 260 amp, and I get hardly any dimming. Anyway, good sh!t again man. Take pics of your amp(s) when u can, I'm real curious how u did it, 'cause I know it's sweet. Mine is just kinda sitting back there. I couldn't even re-use the carpet underneath there or else the door to the storage area wouldn't close. Ah...the things we do. U spend 40K+, and then drop a mini-fortune customizing it. It's all worth it in the end though, right? Right? :D

I just registered here but have been using this site for sometime now & I sure as hell have noticed the major hate against Big Wheels. So don't be surprised when they come at you.I say do what your budget allows you to do, even if it means dropping $10K on Rims. Bottom line is everyone is after some sort of attention when any money is dropped into their ride & we get it whether our ride is being considered HOT or NOT.Out here I have not really gotten much hate in the sense that fools don't like my Mada on 26's but have in the sense of DAMN I want those on my ish!!! Keep on doin' what you doin'! You are the SECOND one I see with the all color matched parts.I LOVE IT!! I am working on being THIRD!! I Have the QX56 Fender Flares & Rear Spoiler ready to be painted. I just need to get the right shop to paint them along with the rest of the stuff. Will post pics when I figure out how to compress them.My Pics are too big.

sweet!

i have an '04 and when i tried on 26"s, they rubbed! so i went with the 24"s.

but i recently found out one of the downfalls of having nice big rims, don't ever get a flat!! lol. first of all, our jack won't get the 'made high enough to get the rim off. secondly, as soon as you realize you got a flat......pull it over. luckily, i didn't damage my rims! damn nail went through the side wall, broke down today and had to buy a new tire!

Importz
04-29-2006, 07:12 PM
rubbed? thats impossible unless your mada is slammed

MacFly
04-29-2006, 07:18 PM
dude, i'm not trying to argue with you. lol

not slammed. but as i said, i have an '04......specs might've changed with the newer models. but trust me, IT RUBBED!

ockevin
04-30-2006, 01:09 AM
sometimes it can rub due to the offset of the rim and not the overall tire.

Keep up the good work fellas.....

Paspasero
05-01-2006, 01:39 PM
I agree with ocseven. I have 22x10s with a 15mm offset and the front tires are very close(if not, they will) to rubbing the running boards. I guess I should expect this since my wheels/tires extend almost an inch past the fenders. :duh:

05-20-2006, 03:12 AM
I got a question...did you have to change the height at all or those 26" tucked perfectly? Slick ride man.

05_HeavyWeight
05-25-2006, 04:21 AM
Nothing was done to get these rims (Bazo B26) to fit on my 05 Armada.Must be due to proper offset because I have seen some smaller rims that stuck out, while mine are pretty well tucked in.I have not had 1 flat in 12K miles nor have I bent any of the rims. What has happened is that I wore out my brakes quicker than with stocks of course. I obviously try to be careful when it comes to potholes but I have been over many & it is not as bad as some portray it. I have done 100 MPH on my way from Phoenix to L.A. & can't even feel it. I guarantee you my steering wheel has no vibration whatsoever. To me if a stock ride is a 10, rolling on 26's is an 8.

HeavyWeight,
Just noticed your truck is the one on the Bazo website. I just ordered some B26's (24x10). Don't worry, I'm in FL. I doubt we'll ever cross paths. Glad to hear there is no vibration. I didn't expect any with these wheels because it has the proper bore size of 78mm. I can't wait to get mine on.

Been there done that... then moved to FLORIDA (neighbor). I got a great idea. Why don't YOU move to the hills of West Viginia, where you can marry your realatives and drive your big-tire trucks all over the place. I'm sure they would love to hear your opinions and think you were real smart and important wit your shiny troo-uck. Although they'd probably call you city-boy cause you don't have 36" mudders on.

you are the biggest loser on the internet!:hi:

Importz,
It's okay Importz, does it really sound like I care what TB says. We all know he's from NY and there isn't one NY'er in the world who gives a crap about what they say. Really I'm ok, he's only giving his obnoxious opinion again. I really don't care how BIG his tires are, or how big his house is, how much he paid for it, how much paper equity he's made on it, or why he feels he must broadcast this to everyone (maybe to compensate for other shortcomings in his life, or to feel like he has accomplished something). In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter because I'm not leaving Florida until I'm ready (maybe never) and he'll either have to see me drivin around on my 24's and hurl out his window or move the heck over. My feelings really aren't hurt. I think it's funny.

Hey FL_Crushin
Even if we were in the same town I'd still show some love when you'd cruise on by. Heck, the only reason why I got 26's & not 24's is because I got them for a sweet price USED. They came off of a wealthy man's Pearl Escalade. He bought the truck with the rims & a big brake kit already on it. Since this mans wife was the main driver of the truck & after getting a few tires damaged due to driving with LOW air pressure, he decided to downsize a few notches to avoid further tire replacements & so that his wife could more easily notice if the tires are underinflated. I will admit, 26's sometimes can give you the impression that they are low in air because we are used to seeing more rubber on smaller rims but I just make it a habit to test the pressure once every week or 2.No Big deal. It's just something that comes with the terrirtory.

Now yours is the way its supposed too look. Nice rims but not OTT, nice paint that stands out and is unique. It lookes polished but not overdone or gaudy. Good stuff. Now if we can get you some front side window tint, it would tie it all together. Still, though not to take away from anyone else, I like the look of yours the most so far. We need a pick with the 240 out back on a trailer. :2cool:

LOL, i was TB always cracks me up :) . I agree with TB about how a truck is supposed to be able to "perform" as a truck should. Example: decent offroad performance, needs to be able to tow a decent load, etc etc..But Its you truck do what you want to it. IMO i think a lifted truck with huge mudders is more masculine and manly and that an Suv with 26's is more feminine but w/e

Thanks TB and OC, Yeah I have been thinking about the tint, want to get that rattle on the drivers side window handled and then it will get done. Does anyone know what percentage tint will match the closest to the stock rear side windows? I agree with the running boards too...looks like I have a couple things to do this summer.

TB, I will post some photos with the racecar in the near future. I am planning on painting my trailer white to match with some nice wheels, once that is done we will get a few photos and get them posted. Here is a photo out of a Japanese Magazine a few months back...
