OK, I won't have my Black Armada LE for about a week when it arrives, but I am already making plans. What wheels have you guys put on your rig? I am looking at the MHT-DUB X-WANG. Unfortunately, I have only seen this wheel on an escalade and an Expedition. I know its a stretch, but can anyone show a pic of an Armada with X-WANGS? I will attempt to show pics.

Show me whatever you guys have for wheels.

Dang, can't even get a reply. 68 views and no one likes or dislikes the wheels I showed? I sure hope the Armada proves to be more responsive than its owners on this discussion board.

Perhaps I am spoiled by my motorcycle discussion board. Someone always has feed back on there.

Thanks for reading.

Right on Pooh!
I am now trying to decide between these two. They cost ~$3,000. I am sure I am paying a bit of a premium, but I am dealing with Les Schwaub. If you don't have them in your area, you are missing the best customer experience you could ask for. They fix flats free. Just pull in and they run out to your car, and I mean run. They remove the wheel, fix it, clean it, and put it back on for you. With regard to my wheels, they will bring in whatever I am interested in and mount them on the vehicle for me to check out. Then I can decide what looks best.

So anyway, here are the two wheels I am considering.

Well depends on what your going for, the left one is more of a Bling Bling type, where as the righ tis sportier but still with the bling

I prefer the right one

I don't like those wheels, You should consider some i-forge wheels. Let me show you some. 22" are in the $1200 for each wheel. They are really really nice and clean. Check it out. http://www.iforged.com/images/aero.jpg

Thanks Tien, but that pic doesn't do that much 4 me. I would probably like it better if I saw it on a truck. In general, I tend to lean toward the BLING side of vehicles.

I can't be the only one who would rather buy some 16's or 17's and throw some fat wheels on them... much hotter than big rims

I agree with you OffRoadinArmada
I put truck tires and wheels on my truck(it is a truck!) and put car tires and wheels on my car. You would not want to tow or carry heavy loads with rolling stock from a sports car. Not to mention do any 4 wheeling.

I don't care for all that flash but it looks good on the Armada

I am not a car or truck guy so this might sound stupid, but these wheels are listed as truck and SUV wheels. Do many people put 22's and 24's on cars?

I paid $3,400 for the wheels and tires from Les Schwab. I would guess I could find them cheaper, but I really like Les Schwab. They take care of you and they had the wheels there waiting for me...no waiting:

--Sipped the tires (a process that makes the tires channel thru water)
--Lifetime waranty
--Free rotations
--Flats fixed for free
--Etc
