what size rims should i put on? everyone seems to be puting on 22's. what about 24's?

Most every size is represented on the site. It depends on what you are looking for. Here is my take:

Function - 20"
Great towing capacity, more tire choices (All Terrain, mud & snow, performance,etc.), resonable cost

Function/Style - 22"
A bit less towing capacity than 20's, less tire choices (no AT's), prices not too bad, still get good all weather tires, look good on 305/45's

Style - 24"
Lose a lot of towing capacity over stock, prices jump starts at about $1500 from the 22's and goes up from there. This size 'fits' the size and look of the 'mada' best IMO.

Attention/BLING!!! - 26's
If you are going for max chrome, this is your wheel. I think they are a bit big for the 'mada they start to look a little odd. The price is outrageous even if you can afford them. These really have no function but to get people to look at your ride and say *!@#$% look at those wheels.

This doesn't include the obvious things like rougher ride, loss in mileage, etc. that you get with increasingly bigger wheels.

Live in Mililani, rims are pretty much a personal preference thing. Check out da Clubs Gallery section to see how the different sizes look on Da Armada. Do a search for 22's on this site and it will get you to threads where members compare how the ride is better/worse with different sizes. Another good place is cardomain.com.

aloha...another hawaiian on this board ;) i love my 24s...but like everyone said..it's all in the preference. :)

I have 22's and I am very happy with my selection. You might want to try a couple of sizes. Shops should let you try some on and drive with them if they really appreciate your business.

nah, i pretty much like the look of 22's, but i like 24's because they cover the gap in the fenders. plus this my family car to ah gotta cruz in style!!!!!!!!!
