I must be having my mid-life crisis. Last night I picked up a 65 Buick Skylark Gran Sport Convertible. For those that remember, the Gran Sport was Buick's response to the success of the GTO, namely shove the biggest engine GM would allow into the mid-size body. I bought it from the nephew of the original owner, it has full history, has only 63,000 miles, and is in excellent condition. Of course, now the wife is leaving magazine pictures of new kitchens around the house, so I'll end up paying twice in the end!

Beautiful car! Maybe you should watch the show "Overhaulin" with your wive so she'll get the idea to get your car overhauled hehehe, just kidding. Maybe if the kitchen get's an overhaul first, LOL.

Sharp. My buddy and I did a frame off resto on the aforementioned GTO. His father bought it in '64 new. 389 tripower, Muncie Rock Crusher, Black, all the goodies. Its in Ohio now being stored as he's moved to Germany but won't part with it. Fun car. Looks like yours is a nice one. Vert is a bonus Congrats!:D
