Any one know why the Titan claims E85 compatibility and the Mada dosen't? I thought they were the same power plant.

No 04 Armadas or Titans were FFV. Nissan started making them after the 05s came out. Some 05s and all 06s are FFV. There is a sticker inside the fuel door and under the hood on all FFV Armadas/Titans.

Boooooo. I got an 06 Armada and it is not a FFV. This link says lists the Titans but not the Armadas. You have to go to the fourth digit in your VIN and if it is a "B" you have a FFV.

...when will there be conversion kits, and what would it take? I'm assuming anything that touches fuel would need to be evaluated to determine if it can handle the higher alcohol content, and then the computer would have to be retuned to handle it, as well. All in all, I've heard that it costs less than $200 for manufacturers to make their vehicles E85 capable. I live in ND, which has many E85 stations, and of course, since its an agriculture-based and ND is largely an agriculture economy (which usually sucks), supporting a regional resource is very good in my mind.

I dont think there will be conversion kits - too much to add/change. Some of the things different are the fuel injectors, fuel pump, ECM, fuel lines, added wiring harnesss(s), added sensor in fuel tank, etc. It doesn't cost very much more to make a vehicle FFV when it is built, but a retrofit would be expensive.

The '07s will be FFVs!
