To tag along with your question does anyone know how other states handle travelers through with tint legal in their home state but not in the state you are traveling through? I know Cali and either Kansas or Missiouri don't allow tint. I have friends in KC and one side of the City allows tint while the other doesn't??? But if you are courteous, respectful and roll the window down before the cop approaches, most cops would ignore it. If I get a ticket, I will just have to spring for having it re-done. Good advice. If he pulled you over, you know he is coming to have a little conversation with you. Have your windows down. I would add this: Anytime you get pulled over, keep your hands in plain sight on top of the steering wheel. If you get pulled over at night, turn on your interior lights so they have no problem seeing what's going on inside. A relaxed LEO is more prone to let you slide than one who feels you might be a threat right off the bat. | ||
