I know alot of people have talked about adding speakers to the rear of their trucks for the third row folks, but noone has posted pictures of their install.
I really want to make that leap but I wanted to see where others have placed theirs to give me an idea of where would be the best location.
Thanks

I haven't done it yet, but my plan is to add 2 x 8" (inch) not 8' (foot) shallow subs and an amp. When I d carry pax inthe third row, I can shut off the amp so I don't rattle and bust their eardrums!

Hm!! That's going to be one hell of a challenge to install two 8ft shallow subs.
I want to see lots of photos of that installation. I wouldn't worry much about your third row pax, I'd worry about your eardrums as well.
No worries mate, I'm just pulling your chain.LOL

Well yesterday I went down to my local custom audio spot and told the guy what I wanted and he seems to think that the only (best) place to add a speaker-amp combo is to place the speaker-mini amp over head in the console of course this will require some custom work. What are you guys ' thoughts on this statement?:crikey:

Not bad, in the third row of the Acura MDX has a speaker over head in the console too and it completes the surround sound feel IMO.

mount them behind seat belt, the side walls are too shallow.
