Hello every one this is my first time at club armada and what i wanted to know was is will the avic z1 fit in the navigation housing for the armada.

If I recall correctly, the Avic Z1 is a full size double din unit, in which case no it will not fit in the Nav. housing. You can however put it where the factory radio is.

Nope won't fit, but if you buy the double DIN console and you don't have the Bose System pretty each to replace radio.

They are right it wont fit but even with the bose system its still not too hard to replace the factory system.

Welcome to the club!

Nope it will not fit!

It will not fit. AVIC Z1 is a Double din from Pionner. You need to get an aftermarket kit from METRA Part# 7606. It is the only way it will work with the double din HU. The difference is that you will loose the "carbon look" on the OEM unit and be replaced with the Same color as the vents and top of console. You will also loose the AUX Jack input. Which it doesn't matter since HU is being removed.
