Just want to know before drilling. Where is the best place to pass thru the firewall or experence here please. I dont want to drill, but if I have to I guess I will. Thanks.

Haven't looked, but it shouldn't be too hard. First, determine all that needs to go through. Large gauge wire for amp, alarm wires, etc. Next, look for unused grommets. If you don't see any, you should drill instead of "sharing one" with something else. Next, determine where to drill if you have too. Make it easy to run wires to from both sides. Drill from the cabin to engine compartment. Use a pilot drill 1/8" to see if it is where you want. Look at the metal contours and where things go through from one side to the other to figure out where the spot is on both sides. I like to remove the panel above the pedals to get better access. Then, drill through. Make the hole slightly larger than needed, then insert a grommet. You can get these at autoparts stores, etc. This will keep the wire from wearing through its shielding on the bear metal and give it a finished look. Use wire ties to secure the wire on both sides. For alarm wires, I like to put them in hard to get at spots from the engine side and feed them through from the cabin. For power wires, I like easy access with the fuse on the engine compartment side near the firewall. ;)

On the passenger side, in the upper right hand side of the floor, there is a rubber gromet that plugs a hole. On the drivers side you can run a wire along side of the emergency brake cable. I ran an 8ga wire through there. The pasenger side hole will probably handle a 0 ga.

He's right, you have to remove the mud gaurd in teh tire compartment and its right there. I ran my aftermarket foglights through there. Also on the Driver side front under the running boards there is another entry

Thanks fellas. I drilled already slightly under the steering colum boot. Didnt want to, but I did. Make shure you guys dont drill a hole to big. Finding firewall grommets is a ***** anywhere over an inch in diameter.

Do any of you have any hints for the best place to hook up the high to low converter for amplifier rca connections? looks like it could be an expensive rca cable to run all the way to the back of the bus.

Thats a 4 gauge wire. Anything bigger will not fit with a rubber grommet that you should install. Just make the hole bigger and install the rubber grommet
