I checked Pep Boys and Auto Zone for a locking gas cap for my 06. No luck yet. Does anybody know if they sell them yet?

I got mine via courtseyparts too ...

Happy? It works .. ie functions as a locking gas cap .. I also added one of those rubber flaps to protect the body from dings via the gas hose/filler ..

I didn't even use it! What a shame! It's sitting on the shelf in my garage.

I elected to keep the OEM cap because it was connected to the truck.:thumbup:

I bought a locking gas cap at autozone. it lasted about a month and the locked jamed. I could not lock it again. I threw it in the trash.

mine works fine, no engine light.

Naw, I never used the locking cap!

well at least it locked while out. imagine if it locked while on? that would have su*&(d

lol same thing happened to me i used it for about a month then the lock stopped locking then eventually broke while trying to unlock it. it didnt give me no warning lights or anything but it probally would of if i had it longer.
