Yesterday I just finished installing my Myron&Davis 9" LCD and matching DVD player. The thing looks awsome!! However, this afternoon after driving in the freeway i noticed a buzzing sound everytime I accelerated the Armada. I mean, the buzzing sound is not that loud but loud enough where you can noticably hear it. During the install, I hard wired the DVD player to my Aux in the STOCK radio. Any thoughts on how to fix this issue? How do I fix this?

Your ground is probably at fault. Double check all of your connections especially the grounds. I had a slight whine that I spent nearly a year trying to get rid of that was coming from my computer. Part of the noise was from the XM case not being grounded and sending a ground loop through the line in. The little bit of whine I finally found was a bad ground to the PC case caused by a tap splices. I got rid of the tap and spliced the wires directly and no more noise.....
The aux wires are pretty small so I would look for good connections there first.

definately a ground-loop problem. you can buy ground loop isolators at best buy. they plug into your rcas (if you dont have rcas you'll have to get adapters). they work great. we used to use those in cases where we couldnt find the ground-loop problem (i used to install stereos at BB). good luck man.

Ground loop isolators are the way to go. They pretty much muffle out the engine whine...

But use the isolator as a last resort, they tend to degrade the sound quality some.....and in my case had minimal benefit.

yeah ground iso's are a bandaid. its probably a loose ground as suggested. take the time to get it right... otherwise you will always have a slight buzz sound and it will degrade your stereo image... especially at loud volumes...
