: Pictures of my Armada, and my door rattles finally fixed!
Tony D 02-18-2005, 12:03 AM Hi everyone, at long last here are pictures, w/the Infiniti fender flares, and w/ the boards, and roof rack painted body color. Also a quick rattle update: those of you w/door rattles, have your service dept check the hinges! I had mine in various times, and finally I had the tech take my car overnight, and he came back replaced the door hinges, and low and behold, no more popping!!!! :D :D What a great day for me. ;) He said the hinges had play, so when the car would flex or hit a bump, the door would move slightly.
Hope this helps everyone
adjmcloon 02-18-2005, 02:52 AM How much for the flares and extra paint? Looks really nice. Are those 22's?
Tony D 02-18-2005, 02:04 PM The flares were about 150$/per. and I got the body shop to trim the flares, custom install, and paint everything for 650$. Well worth it my opinion, still about 9000$ less than the QX56. :D
Tony D 02-18-2005, 02:05 PM Sorry, the wheels are 22's my winter ones I took off are the exact same, only in 20's.
kdogg 02-18-2005, 06:25 PM That's sweet! Could you post pics of you interior, too. I am interesting in getting the "real aluminum dash kit" and wanted to see what it would look like, thanks.
TooTall 02-19-2005, 12:55 AM If you dont mind me asking...where did you get your wheel and tires from? I am looking for 22's and would like some very similar to that. I take it you didn't have any problem with the TPMS?
Tony D 02-20-2005, 03:09 PM I got them from Vogue Tyre spelled just like that. Go to Vogue Tyre.com and they will have examples, etc. I think you have to get from a retailer, but if you need help w/that, let me know, I will have my rep.call you.
Tony D 02-27-2005, 09:15 AM Here is the one picture I have of the interior, if you need more I can do that later. The real brushed aluminum looks much better than the molded fake stuff. In fact, the 05 has aluminum look dash from the factory.

You have your heater set at 90-degrees! LMAO I didn't know it went that high :D
I grew up in the frigid north so I know what it is like to need a 90-degree heater.....I learned my first winter in Houston that it is SOOOOOOOOO much better to sweat than shiver. :D
indresda 03-01-2005, 04:40 AM where did you get the brushed aluminum looks?
:urock:
Where did you get the chrome grills? or were these custom.
Thanks

where did you get the brushed aluminum looks?
brushed aluminum was standard on my 05 LE.
adjmcloon 03-03-2005, 09:43 AM Burmanindustries.com has a very sweet brushed aluminum kit. Check out www.burtmanindustries.com or email jason@burtmanindustries.com
If you've got the darker leather his carbon fiber kit would look sweet too.
HAMMER 03-06-2005, 09:17 AM where did you get the flares did you have to go the the dealer? how did he modify the flares does the rear have to stick out as it does on the rear flare at the bottom or could it be flush. let me know i have the same truck and love the look.
Tony D 03-06-2005, 10:02 AM Thanks for the positive comments, I ordered the flares through Infiniti parts, the fronts had to be trimmed at the front, and there were tabs on the inside that had to be shaved off(no big deal), and the rears have to be like that, that is the shape. The QX56 boards flush to the flares, but everyone thinks that is how mine came, so only us Armada owners tend to notice the gap. The grill is a Trenz grill, and I got through my parts dept. If you are interested I can get as many as needed at 10% over cost. If you want I can check exactly what that is.

Tony D 03-06-2005, 10:22 AM The bodyshop used a 3M type tape and some universal metal clips. If I can get a picture I will, but they made it seem like it was no problem.

Tony D,
I'm definitely interested in getting the grills. Any savings would be most welcome... :)
How much do you think it would cost for an '05 SE.
Also, were they easy to install or would I have to bring it into a shop?
Could you email me at janimidnite AT hotmail DOT com.
thanks
