How difficult is it to run wires to the doors for new speakers/amps?
I ran wires on my 350z before I sold it and it wasn't that difficult...
Anybody know where the BOSE amp is hidden?
thanks

I'm not sure where the amp is but here is a related thread:

I'm trying to see if I can use the stock wiring and replace the amp with aftermarket..
I hate the bose... it actually sounds awful with muddy highs and mids...

It's a pain in the arse, no doubt. I ran all new cabling for my MB Quarts in all 4 doors through the existing rubber boots. It's unfortunate that the factory wiring is so thin and almost unuseable the way the factory system is set up.

I would replace the wiring. if you switch amp before changing head unit you may have bigger problems than you had planned on.
