Welcome to the club tian74!:hi: You have been here for a while! Glad you got your Armada.
First of all, if there is no reports of folks syphoning gas in your area, I really wouldn't worry about the locking gas cap!
Any other modifications you want to make, I fully agree with 06armadaSE4x2, get what you want and can afford. The more you can afford, the more you can CLASS it out! Pace yourself though, this site is addictive and you will always see something that you want to add!
ggeorgie 09-28-2006, 11:29 AM Welcome and its good to have ya, check all the interior/exterior/performance modification section, then check out you budget.

That's so true. After perusing through those sections, it always inspires me to think of doing a mod...then either the wifey or wallet gives you the stare of death...thus shattering the modding dream...for now. :D hahah
razzlee 09-28-2006, 12:39 PM Welcome tian74!!! There are some very cheap mods to get you started, such as polyfil in the stock subwoofer. You could also see if your dealer will do the 2 degree timing advance for you. The polyfil will run you a whopping $2.50 and the timing advance will run you no more than 80 bucks, maybe less.
My routine is; check Club armada to see what everyone is doing. Go on over to Club Titan and see how they are getting along. Check E-BAY to see if anything new is for sale at a good price. Finally I check my funds to see if I can afford anything that I might have found. I started out doing this about twice a week....Now it's several times a day! Welcome to the addiction!!!:D
I almost forgot...You can always do Spydas coolest mod...The ol' debadge.
BRE Armada 09-28-2006, 12:51 PM I am really happy with my exhaust and CAI. Not super expensive but a nice upgrade.

ggeorgie 09-29-2006, 10:38 AM what is a 2 degree timing?
Advancing the ignition timing 2 degrees will help is the only way to elminate the bog when accelerating at full throttle from a stop.
