Bridgestone now has the Dueler H/L Alanza for the Armada. Now I have to decide between these and the Revos.
As much as I would like to think of myself as the rugged, off-road type, the reality is I only get off-road once or twice a year.
Do I go for the rugged, good looks of the Revos, or the practicality and excellent ride characteristics (including mpg) of the Alanzas?
TireRack.com has stellar reviews for both tires.
Decisions, decisions.

Pick yourself. Either will have far superior road characteristics to the stock Contis so you win either way.

I feel like I should chime in here:
I always wanted some rugged, tough looking tires but I was worried about what it would do to the ride quality. When i talked to the salesman at Les Schwab he said the ride would improve with the toyos, although I could get a smother ride with a street tire, not having the chance to compare them I wouldn't realy know the difference. The minute I got out on the road I could tell I had improved the perfomance of the mada. I [I]did[/I notice that my mpg went down but I LOVE THEESE WHEELS.
Anyway, you already know all this, I just wanted you to know that I was posed with the same dilema, went with the offroad wheels and I'm as happy as can be.:D
Yeh I am getting new tires this week. I cant decide on these or some wider Toyo Proxes S/T's. I think both will be good. I really was wanting a wider tire I just think a wider tire looks better. I can get the Alenza's installed and road service included for $815. I can order the wider Toyo Proxes with free shipping for $692. Then pay for installation. Now I just have to decide. LOL

Well Choice is yours....but if I were to go offroading only 2x/yr, I would not go for the off road tire....
That is my .02 cents
