I have an 04' Mada' 4 wheel drive. Whats the difference between the ones that say Off Road on the side besides having skid plates under the fuel tank and transfer case and having the different OEM 17" Wheels that come on the Off Road version? Since mine is 4 wheel drive, I added the fuel tank and transfer case skid plates. I bought mine in the 4 wheel drive version not to go off road but just to have when inclement weather hits or when it's raining hard. Any other differences?

I think you got all the differences. I don't think the off-road comes with running boards.
Where did you get your skid plates? If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for them?
off-road pckg comes with running boards.

You mean Rancho struts and shocks. It isn't a suspension package. And those don't come on the ones with the autoleveling rear for towing. Also, they don't offer it anymore.
Officially the '04 Off road package had over the base SE:
17" wheels. Smaller is better off road
fog lights
bose
6 way pwr seat
leather
side air bags
lower gear ratio (Towing ratio)
Skid plates
Stickers
The LE had all the above stanard except a skid plate and wheels
The SE could be equipped with a lot of the above optionally.

I got the skid plates from the dealer so it's a direct bolt on. If I remember correctly, the fuel tank skid plate was like $130 and some change and the transfer case skid plate was $45.
