Ok... I am going to try and drop two 10" subs under the front seats. It has taken a while, but here is a list of subs I found with shallow mounting depths.

If ANYBODY is in Iowa, Elemental Designs will build a box and sell it... They just need an Armada to build the mold from. :-)

I have heard the Pioneer one is pretty much crap and that the others are supposed to be pretty good.

I have the pioneer, it is just real picky about the box it is in, and they need huge amounts of power.

Yeah, but still VaporWare. They don't release products until they are DONE. It may be two years before they actually ship... (Case in point, their home sub...)

The elemental designs forums are pretty informative and everyone there seems to be amazed with their shallow mount sub.

I just got my shop down here in Miami building me the boxes for the JL's. I will keep you updated and hope it comes out as expected.

The thin ones, I hope they come out good, boxes are supposed to be ready by Sat.... I will keep you posted...

cool... Nobody out of florida has seen them yet.... What did they set you back? Firing up or down?

Boxes are ready, will install this weekend, I will let you all know how they came out... And im hard to please cuz I was running around with 4 15" subs on my SS.
But I hope the performance comes out desent...

Did you ever get the JLs installed?

Mine are being installed now. Should have the truck back by the 22nd... Will post pictures and a review then.... I dropped off the eD subs, but may end up with a new Kicker sub that is coming out if all goes well... :-)

I don't know much about this subject, but it looks like you did a very good job working with fiberglass, looks good custom, except the color little bit off.:cool:

Yeah the color wasn't worth trying to match. Local panit retailers matching gun wasn't working (gave a formula for a purple) so we just went with a comlimentary shade. Box volume is .70ft3 so it works with a lot of smaller 10"s. Sonds great with the infinity.
