Anyone here had any experience with any of the starvision dvd players? i was looking at the DVD-50T http://www.webzone.us/audio/product.php?productid=16355&cat=250&page=1 how do you compare this player to M&D AD-212 ?

No personal experience with that one. I just want to make a suggestion, any dvd player you end up chosing, make sure it had "last memory position", trust me you'll appreciate it. You don't want the kids to be in a middle of a movie and you stop to get gas or something and when you start the vehicle up the movie have to start at the beggining again.

also make sure it'll play in a vertical mounted position. Most will but I have seen some listed as only playing in a horizontal position.

Looks just like the one I installed on my wifes Mada, exactly the same except the name is different. The one in my wifes Mada is by Directed and it does have last memory positon and can be mounted vertically
