Has anyone else had any noises coming from the Injen intake?(other than the roar the engine makes do to the CAI) I've got a rattle, almost a thump, where the intake box rests on the Wheel well(?). It only makes the noise when I'm on bumpy roads or going over speed bumps.

I have come up with two solutions:
1) Turn the intake box 90degrees, so the convex side of the box faces up. This should make the box "float" above the Wheel well.

2) Glue a rubber stopper under the box to secure it.

I like your second Idea, but maybe gluing a mouse pad underneath the CAI on the wheel well, will be better.

I super glued a 1" round rubber stopper to the bottom of the air box this morning. It seems to be a perfect fit. No more bumping and it seems to be more secure all around.

I'll be taking the whole thing off again real soon so I can put in my new TBS. I'm not 100% convinced that it will make a difference but for 40 bucks and a half hour worth of time, it's worth a try.

also, I sent in my engine cover for painting today! Blood red is what I asked for. I want a big POP of red when the hood is opened. I want the guts of the truck to look more like real guts.
