Has ANYONE CHANGE THEIRS ON THE QX56? If so how hard was it and wich ones did you use? i wanted to get the ones that are a bit more blue or hitting the purple color, anyone done this pics if possible thanks

The same type of lights you find standard on Mercedes and BMW instead of Halogens you find on most VWs.

As for changing the color, why? The standard color gives you the most light. Go to purple and you might as well have halogens as the light is that much dimmer. :confused:

But Xenon lights are by far not standard on BMW or MB in Germany. Usualy we have to pay around 1000€ extra for those - as we have to pay for every singlebn featur extra.
By an X5 (starts at 51500€) or GL (65000€) in Germany and ad all the nice stuff a QX has, and you end up paying close or above 100.000€ (126.000 Dollar)...

I'm used to the US market. They are standard on the MB, higher level BMW, every Infiniti ever made has them, etc.

Bottomline, all manufacturer standard equipment is 4300k. Higher K looses light. Halogens are about as bright as 8000k, which are the legal limit in the US. You need to decide if you want to loose light to pick up aesthetics. Going higher K is just this. There are no benefits from K higher than 4300k but aesthetics.

i changed them on my TITAN. went with the G-BA 10000k kit. looks awesome! here is a pic

The 10000k kit has less light than Halogen and is lthe highest K that is street legal. Higher and you might as well drive wearing night vision goggles. Blue hinting of purple is 8000k. 10000k is Prince Purple Rain.
