Nice Mada. Are you converting cloth to leather, or are you puting leather inserts for two tone? Ive been wanting to do a two tone on my current leather, but not sure what colors. What color are you opting for?

nothing exciting, probably bug shield, relay for ignition-triggered power locks, almost certainly some weather-tech floor liners, maybe some new front speakers for door and dash, chrome LE wheels. Still looking around for new ideas.

I'm looking for the chrome QX56 shoes to put on my Mada for the wet and rainy winter season that we get here in Hawaii. The full coverage plastic liners in the 2nd and 3rd row are great esp. if you got kids.(can't think of the brand name off the top of my head right now...but it's a popular brand). I'm sure you will come up with tons of ideas soon. ;)

Those are a few things on your mod list. The list will grow when you've spent enough time on this forum :D There are lots of ideas that you can pick up here and i'm learning that it can get expensive. Wasn't going to do any mod on mine but it is addicting. Love my truck though!

By the way, did the dealer pay for the cloth to leather seats conversion the way our dealer did? Oh and that's a nice lookin truck ;) We thought of getting white too. Can't wait to see the interior!

The story is: I bought an 06 SE, and opted for the leather seat upgrade. This only upgrading the seats and door panels to leather-not the "leather package" from nissan. My final price for the upgrade, tax tag and title, was $32K.

I had driven several SUV's including an 07 Expedition EB. I was blown away by the 2 tone leather-I had to have it!! I asked my dealer about it and he said, "No problem, just did a Maxima in 2 tone." He said if I chose to go with two tone I would only have to pay the up charge from the shop doing the leather for 2 tone. Since I financed the leather upgrade, all I have left to pay is the upcharge, if I opt to do so.

So far I have considered doing t tones of grey, a light and dark grey, with the middle being the lighter. Or Grey and white to really set off the color of the car, with the white in the middle. Any suggestions?

What color is the cloth interior they are replacing?

stay away from white leather, unless you only drive your car spotlessly clean. my mom had a jag while i was growing up that had really really light tan leather. we bought the car used with about 50k on it, and the leather looked about 10 years old. we had to have it professionaly cleaned every 6 months or so to keep it looking good. just food for thought man. and major congrats on the new mada!!!!

Hullio, I like the bottom picture that u did. More surface area of each color--it reminds me more of the Expo seats.
I got the steel (grey) interior. I guess I'll be going with the darker and lighter shades of grey..I need to hurry up and get to the dealer to start looking at samples.

I like that scheme as well. I would almost go with what Nissan calls Charcoal on the outer edges with the large center stripe in something that would almost match the Steel gray - this would tie it all in nicely with the in place interior yet still set off a true two tone scheme.

don't know...should be do it yourself though...

or keep your current 'mada for ever?? I have an 04 LE Smoke/Graphite/tinted windows/aftermarket DVD with just under 40K...should i keep? trade in for a newer model? wait until the redesign? just curious what the thoughts of car ownership and trading in are....

IMHO, unless u have an abundance of money...drive it til the wheels fall off--unless of course it's nickel and diming u to death. My family has never traded a car in. All were driven to the grave--its really the only way you'll get your money's worth.
