Everytime I get into the vent is blowing on the feet. I change it to chest and feet to spread the heat and when I get out and back in it goes back to just feet.

Is there a way to make it always split chest/feet?

I was checking mine out last night at it seems as if it have another setting between chest and feet and chest...the knob settings stop in between these 2 settings

Yes, but how do I get it to always be on chest/feet when I start the truck?

I don't use the heat in my neck of the wood, but maybe you have a problem and need to take it to be looked at if you think it is a problem, my A/C stays on at all times.

 I have the same issue. But with me I want it going towards the feet, and when I get back in and start it, it default to blowing in my face.

There must be a setting somewhere or a way to program it to stay where I left it.

I still don't understand, If the knob is set on one position, How could the position change? there most be a problem, like I said before have the dealer check it out, I have never heard of this before

The display for the HVAC is on the nav unit. When I get back into the truck it defaults to the feet. I reset it to split between chest and feet. But after I restart the truck it goes back to feet only.

Is there a way to set the default?

Glad you clarified, I don't have the OEM Navigation, the knob is their, sorry maybe someone will chime on this, If not the dealer is your best bet.

No worries, I should have mentioned it earlier.

Anyone have an answer?

Since you have the Nav, you have climate control. With the climate control in the "Auto" setting, it will go to the mode that best fits the temperature in the vehicle vs the temperature you have set. So, if it is cooler inside than the temp setting, it will turn on the heater, and direct the air to your feet. If it is warmer inside than the temp setting, it will send cool air through the dash vents. I don't know if the system always defaults back to the Auto setting when you start the engine, I don't drive my Armada enough to notice (it's my wife's daily driver). My Maxima has climate control, and it stays where you leave it, in the manual setting.

Hope this helps....

Thanks Keith, I remember reading something like that but thought it was for the back sears. Was hoping I didnt have to reset everything each time I get into the truck.
