My son said I was too old to drive an Armada. Was wondering how old the average Armada owner is? How old are you?

BTW I'm 46 years young :hi:

I'm young enough to get into trouble and old enough to know better:D
I am inside of the Nissan demographic for this truck.

I don't know why, but I'm always supprised when people think about the Armada as age specific. I'm also supprised when I hear people associate the 'mada with soccer moms. Don't they know soccer moms prefer suburbans??

Personaly, I'm thankful there are older folks driving this rig. I have learned a TON of stuff from the experienced members of CA.

I am going on 35 and I do not know if I fit the demographic but I had absolutely no good reason to buy an Armada. I had a perfectly good Ford Explorer, I have no kids and I bearly haul stuff around. Hell, 95% of my driving is just me alone.

My only reason was "I just had to have it". Having said that, I LOVE it!

31.

I dont think of it as a soccer mom vehicle. Even though I got it for the wife and kids! :o

I dont think this vehicle has an age demographic either. But I could see how someone might think that the size demands a more "mature" driver.

Hey guys!
I'll be fifty next month, only one grandkid and I bought my Armada to pull a boat I haven't bought yet. I looked at Escalades and such, but the Armada won me over. I just installed two Alpine 12's and a MTX amp so I'm loving it more than ever. Armada isn't for everyone, just the special folks like us!
05 LE galaxy with all available options
All chrome oem grill (chrome honeycomb), Chrome bumper fillers
Black halogen double halo headlamps
Chrome SE wheels (good deal from ebay)
22's on the back burner!
Merry Christmas to all!:hi:

I'm probably the oldest here at 68. I replaced my Pathfinder with my Armada because the Pathy wouldn't hold all the guns that I carry to gun shows. My Armada is a working truck! But its a fast working truck. I was in Austin for the last three days for a show there. While I was there I had UpRev do some more tuning. They worked on it for about two hours Friday, and couldn't get it how they wanted. So they went home to think it out and came back to the show Sat. morning and picked up the Armada. Three hours later they came back and said that they had got it worked out. My Armada was the first one they had on the dyno, and it takes time to get everything set up correctly, But they will work on it until they get it right.
I couldn't try any test runs on the drive back home tonight because the back was loaded with guns. As soon as I have the time and conditions are right I will run more tests and post results.

I'm not as old as dirt but younger than fire. My wife thinks I'm about 12 because of my insatiable lust for motorized toys (motorcyles in particular). My teenage kids think I'm 70 because I don't ride a dirt bike as fast as they would like (something to do with being able to go to work on Monday and eating). I feel like about 35, but am really 51. As far as my wife knows I bought the Armada for it's towing capability and the 2nd row leg room/door size to get her elderly parents in and out. The truth is that I really like that skinny pedal.

I am 38 years old. I've never owned an SUV before. My wife who, is 28 years old, convinced me we needed a larger vehicle with the birth of our second son who is now 11 months. I test drove every other SUV out there and being a Nissan fan, the Armada was the logical choice.

Also do a good bit of boating and tow a 23' Yamaha SX230 boat around. The Armada replaced a Ford Expidition that I had for 7 years. Im 29, I was 28 when I got it.
Its funny, I was thinking about asking this question just today...
No wife, No kids.
I bought mine because I had been driving an '96 4dr Civic for the last 10yrs, Ive physically grown a lot in those years, & its one thing for 4 19yr old guys to jump in the car & head out on a trip or boarding, its quite another for 4 grown men to do it & be comfortable. In my Civic, I basically view it as a coupe now because I am uncomfortable driving if anyone sits behind me since I have to slide up so far.
I also wanted it for the 4x4, Ive been stuck in blizzards for the past 2yrs on my way to & from Snowshoe WV, the last time...was the LAST TIME!!
Oh... and the other reason was I have a tractor, & at some point I want to be able to haul it around, or at least have the option to haul it...I dont think the Civic will do that trick on a 1" 1/4 receiver LOL!

32 years for me, plus wife and a 9 month old. I needed a truck that I could put a rear facing child seat in that did touch the back of the drivers seat. Being 6'4 I couldn't find many vehicles that fit that criteria. I have only ever owned Jeep Grand Cherokees, but they aren't known for their rear legroom. I still plan on buying a new Jeep because the Armada isn't as nimble off road.
