Just got my tranny flushed @ the infiity dealer and men what a diference, real smooth

How many miles did you have on the truck?
Did you use OE fluid or and Aftermarket?

I did it @ 37,700 the book says it should be done @ 30k, they put that special majic J fluid, out of all the 30k maintenance things to do this is the only one i took to the dealer to have done, our tranny is not cheap so i like to be on the safe side

I've been thinking about getting it pre-flushed at about 1,000 miles to be safe and clean out any impurities early before they can sit in there for another 29,000 miles. Is this overkill, though?

I don't know how much "breaking in" companies do nowadays with the engine and drivetrain before delivering vehicles.

I'm going to hit 20k miles in May and I think I'm going to go ahead and go the Royal Purple route in the Tranny and Differential. I'll make sure Nissan is on board before I do it to make sure I don't blow the power train warrantee.

I DID RP for the differential, but for the tranny i take that to get flushed @ the dealer, i wont mess with the tranny, too costly for me
