Has anyone installed any Packages or creature comfort items to their Mada after taking delivery?
In hindsight, I would love to have the auto tailgate & rear vents, but the dealer advised against it as the cost to install the necessary harnesses would be astronomical (or were they BS'n?)

Nissan parts are insanely expensive. For example they replaced my rear overhead console and I saw the ticket price was $2500. :huh: Its some fricken plastic (and cheap plastic at that). The rear DVD monitor is like $800, so imagine what they charge for the lift gate assembly.
Best bet is to put a line out to some junk yards and let them know what you are looking for. Eventually there will start to be some parts out there.

With all the power in the Armadas, I'm sure the junk yard will see it's fair share of parts, just hope their not mine :D

becaus insurance companys make body shops try to find used parts first thay made a web site to surch all the junk yards in the US at one time and standerdise prises on all parts not a lot of peple know about this so tell everyone you know the web site is WWW.CAR-PART.COM

They wanted $850 for a 5sp manual trans for my 4Runner. I can get it totally rebuilt for less than $500 if I R&R which I would have to do anyway. Nice to know it is there though.
