Yeah that's a good price, I paid $60 shipped for mine off Ebay. Not too hard to install.

I had similar ones on my ELEMENT... On mine you could select the color of angel ring you wanted... Looks good on the ARMADA, I should have taken the other ones off my car before getting rid of it...

The fog light kit came with a new harness and relay plus a 3 position switch, Halo on/OFF/Fog lights on. Since I already had factory fog lights the switch was already there and I wanted to use the factory switch. Using 2 relays I wire it where if the fog lights is off the halo is on and when the fog lights comes on the halo turn off (all this with parking lights on off-course).:D

anyone know if 06 SE are prewired for foglights? all you need to do is install lights and change the stalk switch.

Yes it should be pre-wired. Just look under the front bumper where the fog light holes are, the pig tail should be tape up near there. If you get the OEM kit, it's plug and play. Will take about 15 min. to install including the new headlight stalk.

So BBF,

Will this still be a plug and play too if I want to do it like yours. The factory OEM foglights is about $140 a piece. But your is cheaper and elegant.

:D

I'm looking to add some fog lights as well.....especially if my 06 is pre-wired (gonna check this weekend)

So, I'm gonna ask what mansugi just asked as well....

Will the Optilux 2500's be a plug and play...or will we first need to buy the OEM kit?

Thanks

No, anything aftermarket will have to be wired up. Most kit will come with a harness, relay and switch. Just a matter of mounting the lights, running the wire, and installing the switch.

I saw your wiring diagram there :D .

Care to do a little write up (step by step) on how to run the wires and installing the switch.

TIA

i'll definitely picking these lights up but instead of going oem look i'll install the harness that came with the kit and install the switch where the 4x4 switch suppose to be if your mada is equip with 4x4.

does it actually work (improving vis?) I was driving the Mada last Friday up into Northern VT and had white out conditions and my yellow fogs made a world of difference seeing the road...snowed 8-10" that night,,,great skiing on Sat!!

I saw your diagram....so why couldn't you just clip on the fog lights to the original connection, instead of adding a relay? and run the halo lights to the parking light?

Because I want it to turn on with my parking lights, if you use factory wires it will tuen on with headlights only.

You can run the lights from the factory wires and tap the parking lights for the Halos straight but adding relays does insulate the rest of the electrical system from the aftermarket fogs. Just in case.

You never did answer how you installed the Hella's. I know the factory fogs are a direct plug in, how and what did you mount the Hella's too since they are not a direct plug in..

Thanks

I agree, I just don't see under the bumper what the Hella's could mount up to if they don't plug into the factory location.. There's nothing close to mount the bracket's on....

Any help from the o.p. would be awesome...

can you put a 35w hid bulb in that housing and still keep the halo ring?
