In my lexus I did this with only a speed sensor by-pass. Is this possible on my oem Nav/Dvd?

Don't think it is Doc... on our Lexus, the DVD player is connected to the Nav screen to play through it but on the Armada the DVD player is not connected to our Nav unless you have video converter for the Nav.

I haven't messed with the DVD/ Nav in my Lexus yet. You said you used a speed sensor-bypass. Was it easy to do?... because I really don't mess with the Lexus like I do with the Armada.

Yes, it was easy to do, if you want I can give you a how-2. You have Third gen GS 2006 correct?

All of those except for the AVelectronic, requires installation behind the monitor. This means you have to take apart your center console...a pain in the @$$.

Thanks pdiddy... thats helpful information.

One thing I want to add to my previous post. The AVelectronic box requires cutting into your nav harness, thus voiding your warranty.

There is no free lunch here. Either void your warranty and have upgradeable video capabilities ( ie carputer ) or rip apart your center dash to get only 2 video inputs ( 1 usually is a camera ) to the nav screen...

The TV and Nav 2 Go has a plug and play harness you can get as an option.

Think I will order the AVelectronic one. Now I need DTV but the darn dish is so exspensive. This truck is going to send me to the poor house. hehe
