finally took the Armada to STAR Nissan (Bayside, NY) and all i can say is nothing positive. i told them about the HVAC humming noise because i hear it all the time; the service rep kept telling me he and the tech never heard anything(must be deaf or something).
i also told him about the DVD monitor vibrating and that was ignored as well. he tried to tell me there was no service bulletin for this problem, but only for the cracked overhead console. and when i asked him to search the bullentin (TSB #04116) he refused and then stated even if there was one, they're not obligated to repair it. he even had the nerve to write down on the receipt "customer complained of squeaks and rattles" which i never said.
here's the best part, he tells me the tech DID find a problem w/ my master window "AUTO" switch (TSB#004138) and replaced the switch. well guess what.. yes the windows roll up now with no problem, but now the unlock switch gets stuck in place; and now, my doors don't auto re-lock after the 1min. setting.
after a dissapointing morning, decided to call Nissan Consumer Affairs and a file # was created. i don't know if this is going to help, but i really do hope Nissan does take my complaint in a serious, professional manner. not the ignorant, clueless attitude that kimchi-eating mofo gave me that morning.
You may have already seen this, but here is a site that I ran across right before finding this one. After opening this link in your browser, just change the 2006 to whatever year your Mada is and it should take you to the current bulletins. Hopefully, you'll find one to fit the prob.

Not chasing you away from these Guys "Five Town Nissan"...but I myself have had a Bad experience with these Guys as well as some of the other nissan owners on my job...When I was looking for Mada they had a used one I looked at...to make a long story short..They told me one owner I came home and carfax the vin... it came back as a rental fleet car, went up there to get my deposit back and Guy refused to give...I went back to work and at Break a few guys from work came up there as soon as manager see us exit the 2 cars, said he was about to call me and he had a bad day...He apologized and paid up...I knew it will have cost him more than $500.00 worth of damage on every new car in that lot...So just be Careful with these Guys...Bunch of Thief...

didn't go to Five Towns Nissan; went back to Star Nissan to have my master power windows/locks switch replaced and it went smoothly. i dealt with another service rep and he asked me if there was anything else and i just laughed it off. told him what happened last week and that another dealership will be taking care of the problem for me. he was really trying to convince me to have them look at it again but i didn't want to be there any longer. his attitude was completely opposite from the first rep i dealt with. he was even nice enough to leave me his business card, and said if Five Towns doesn't fix it, bring it right back to him.
i'm thinking he's really sincere or my complaint file# with Nissan Consumer Affairs might have actually done something.
