I have a dent in my front bumper the size of a baseball in '05 QX56 did it in a small parking garage. Can you repair the dent without replacing the whole cover? and what is behind the front bumper cover?

A drunk driver hit my 88 RX-7 bumper once. I placed a hair dryer behind the bumper for about 10 minutes and pushed it back to its original form by hand. with a lot of heat on the dented area for a long time, the heated area become pliable. When it cools it becomes rigid again. It looked pretty darn good, but not perfect. It's definately worth a shot! And you might not even have to remove the cover.
