DocHarley 02-02-2007, 06:50 PM Installed my QX56 mug guards and what a differance, even with my 24's I get very little splash on the side of my truck. Before it was a mess, even more so on my running boards. Here's a few pic's, I ground the inside so they would lay flat to the finder. Wut do you think? I thought that the mounting hole placement was what caused the gap. DocHarley 02-04-2007, 09:12 AM Thats correct, if you use the stock holes there is a LARGE gap, thats because the QX56 uses a trim piece that fits between the guard and the finder. The shape of the QX56 guard does not follow the shape of the armada finder at the top. If you want a tight fit you will need to make some modifications, I used a drimmel and sand paper to make it fit snug as you can see in my pics. :) inqui-Z-tor 02-04-2007, 12:00 PM Hmm .. next time I see a QX ..
