I think in California having a movie display within sight of the driver is illegal. If you were involved in a crash and the display is discovered you could be considered liable even if it wasn’t you fault. Personally, as a avid motorcycle rider who commutes and dodges cell phone zombies, I don’t think it is a good idea. Cell phone zombies are by far the worst hazard on the road and having a movie display can't make it any better. Car drivers have too many distractions as it is.
