We have had our '07 4x4 Armada for a little over a week now. I was coming up to a stop light yesterday, applied the brakes, and the steering wheel started shaking - classic warped rotor problem. The truck only has 500 miles on it. WTF? Reading thru the threads, seems others have had similar problems, but I thought this issue was corrected in the new models. Anyway the dealer wants to turn them. I want them replaced. They wont budge. Said Nissan requires them to turn them. Anyone had luck getting them replaced? I am not thrilled with warped rotors at 500 miles. This is setting up to be many returned trips to the dealer, I can see it now....

Just let them turn them. Maybe there were minor imperfections that can be lathed off. And hopefully you won't have any more problems. It is possible.

But if it happens again, then they will replace them (because they have documentation showing they were turned). It sucks, but it seems to be standard practice.......not just Nissan.
