ok one thing i been wondering about is the QX's front bumper will it fit right onto a mada or do you need to make major changes. The reason i ask is becouse i like the fogs and air dam on the QX and was think of convertin. just wish could keep the crome look

You can do it. It will not be as easy as removing it and replacing it with the QX bumper though.:cool:
You will have to do some fabricating to make it work. Primarily because the Armada bumper is taller thatn the QX56 bumper at the hood. It does seem likely that if you want to cut the foglight ends off of the QX bumper to fit the ends of the Armada bumper that it could be done though. Just not a plug-an-play mod.

Hell, if you got the time and the $$$$, make it happen! I think it would look tight!

Blacksyda is right.....if you like the chrome middle-1/3rd bumper, then modify the factory urathane endcaps to house the QX56 fog lights. It's only money! ;)

This would be done by me but i dont foresee it as a short term project i just put the majority of my $$$$ into and investment and once it pays off I will change the Fogs. or sometime later in the year. i just like the look. :cool:

Using ezemxima's sig pic, you can see the size difference. Like I said before, because of the QX's hood, the bumper is smaller in the middle, but it looks smaller all together. It can still be done, but not without some modification, not just plug and play!

i think some cut and paste might be in order. It might mean some destruction of one or two bumpers to get it right but once i get the $$ gotta give it a try would not be the first time i completely ruin a part on one of my vehicles. Me thinks I will wait till they come out with another front spoiler for the Mada. Because you know they will they'll have lots of body kits available. Then you throw in your own custom fog lamps and have a custom mouth open to eat all the walking pedestrians. Just look at the rice burners. I'd wait till some come out but thats just me.

It would be easier to go buy a QX.

No thanks their other things i dont like about the QX. I know its the same guts and all but i have a hard enought time taking the Mada offroading.(wife) at 40000 compare to the QX at over 55000. and i also prefer the grille on the mada.
