: Auto level suspension...doesn't? proffsionl 03-21-2005, 02:53 PM Hauled some bags of mulch home from the local home improvement store yesterday and our '04 Armada LE (with the tow package) did NOT level the suspension. Well, I don't know at what weight the leveling suspension kicks in, but maybe you were too light? Mine typically works like this- I hook up my cargo trailer, and within about 2 minutes (vehicle is running) or less I hear the shocks air up. Likewise after I disconnect it takes a little bit of time for them to air down. proffsionl 03-21-2005, 04:22 PM Well, I had about 500 lbs worth of mulch in the truck. I would think that this was more than enough (and the rear was squatting pretty good). I know the compressor (or pump, whatever it is) is on the driver's side rear of the truck and in a small rubber shroud. I can hear a high-pitched whine coming from it all the time (regardless of the load). I don't hear anything "kick in". I'm wondering if I have a bad compressor...
