I plan to bug the dealer about this when I go in for inspection. Is it common for the screen to rattle when it's down? Annoying as all heck.

My M&D does if it's down all the way, the back rubs against the frame part. I usually just push it back where it's more perpendicular and the plastic doesn't rub. If it gets to the point where that doesn't work, I'll probably add a very thin strip of padding to see if that might help.

I take it yours is the factory DVD. a mount might be broken or loose. i have the factory dvd and go offroading often and like feeling the thump in my music and never had the issue. The proble on my Screen is it wont stay closed. Does anyone know how to fix that.

It used to just rub when the screen was all the way down and I moved it forward to fix. Now there's a plastic rattle when the road gets bumpy. I tried removing the two bolts above the screen, but it looks like I have to take down the entire overhead to access it. Any tips on removing the overhead? I'd prefer not to take it to the dealer for a such a small item.

BTW, on a prior occasion, the sunroof rail broke (funny I rarely use it) and it was covered under warranty. However, when I got it back the temp/direction LCD didn't work anymore. Of course they replaced it, but that just prolonged the repair process. I'd prefer to tackle small items on my own and not risk running into other problems at the dealer.
