I was on my way to work today, when this guy in a 2006 Cadillac Cts ran into my rear...I am ok so is he physically but I think his Wallet will be hurt...I have the chrome hitch bar and he ran into it...there is no damage on Mada just a scratch on Hitch...He was willing to pay for new one.But I told him it's ok...He has left light damages along with Grill also a dent on hood...I will tell anyone who have a tow Hitch to invest in one of those "Tow Hitch Bar" it saves your Rear":D

Glad you are OK Brother. Trust me I know!

The rear end of this truck just seems to be the right hieght and with a hitch step/bar... well lets just say it helps protect our investyment.

I am sure he looked at your truck and shook his head at the damage he did to his vehicle.

Wow - glad you're okay. Be sure to check the undercarriage of the 'mada to verify there was no suspension component damage.

WOW! Glad you're alright. I think that I will be looking into one of those bars now. With the recent DST change, it's tailgating season again.

My OEM Bull Bar hasn't messed anything up. It just replaces the Tow Hooks because that's where it attaches to the frame. It uses (4) half-inch thick solid steel bolts to attach on each side and would take alot to bend it enough to damage the front, especially since most vehicle bumbers are down close to the frame connection points.

The Hitch Bar is something like this:

Thanks Guys, Everything is Good, had the Mechanic at work looked at it..."No problem"...

He did say "All that damage to his car and I just put some dust on your Bumper"...:)

It's actually a good price, there are some other brands you can pick up at auto accessories store..which are cheaper but make sure you also buy a lock for it...

Thanks a lot Guys for all your Care's....:D

I ran across this Bully Bar 12" Hitch Step in Pep Boys yesterday and think this is the one I'll get.

I also found the 36" for $107 +shipping ($120 shipped) here: http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/RHI360C.htm

This place sells all sizes in Go Rhino for comparison: http://www.aztrucks.com/product.asp?Product=127

Pops - how far out does the bar stick? I am interested, but have a very tight fit into my garage. Thanks for the info.

It's exactly 5-1/2" from the end of the receiver. If you have 6", it will fit.
