Hey club i found these led bulb on this site I got 6 194 for the Plates and 4 doors, these led light are real white super bright just like the lexus plates if ya have ever seen one not like those cheesy blue bulb auto parts sell this is the real thing i also changed the interior lights with these kinda like a flouresent light inside my mada now! COOL and brighter.

now the dome lights that goes in the front and the rear cargo are called FESTOON led bulb they are 31mm long make sure is 31mm and not 41mm this last one is way to big and will not fit and you will need a total of 3 2 for the dome front and 1 for the cargo.

They work great the light is true white not like the regular bulbs you buy at any autostore plus give you a nice LUX look.

I change out all my turn and brake bulbs and puddle and plate and most interior. make sure you get bulbs size correct - 921 will fit into 194 socket, but 921 is too fat to fit into the licence plate. you must get 194 for the plate lights. good luck.

I believe the 194 bulb is common on most vehicle including Nissan
if it has 194 it should'nt be a problem and it would look more sofisticated.

I have got in contact with V-Leds (Velocity Distributing) for a group buy on a kit for the interior and exterior.

I'll check against what Joe C has done, with their recommendations on the type of LEDs for interior lights.

I'll get back to everyone on cost and types of LEDs, including where they would go in the truck.

you will also need 1 pair 3157 amber, 1 pair 3157 white, and 1 pair 3156 white, and also 2 pairs of load balancer for the turn signals.

Also, why do we need 4 pairs instead of 3 for the 194 flank LED? 3 pairs should cover the 2 license plate lights and 4 door lights right? SO why the extra pair? Thanks in advance

Now the doors are the same as license plate Led bulb
4 Led for doors.

Now 2 front dome lights and cargo or rear trunk light 1 needed only

Now interior middle and 3rd row seat lights 4 needed only.

I just got an email from V-LEDS and he told me that in 4 weeks they should have the ones for the vanity mirror. Once i get these the LED replacement set will me complete and i'll post pics.

Well i just received the LED's for my vanity mirrors from autolumination.com and they are off course too big. I probably should have measured my stock lights before ordering, but i was in a hurry so i placed an order anyhow. The stock vanity mirror bulbs are 22-23mm, and i have yet to find any. If anyone knows where to get some please let me know.

you will have to lay on your back looking up at the bumper and you will see a white socket with two wires. just twist the socket counter clockwise about a quarter turn and it should pull right out. the bulb number is 194. good luck.:)

I went ahead and ordered the LEDs for my license plate, doors, puddle lights, and reverse lights. I also ordered the brake lights, but am not sure if I will run with them or not. I walk a fine line to try not to look too "over the top" with this stuff...I'll see how it looks.

The guys at V-LEDs sent an out of office email saying that they are at SEMA and wouldn't be shipping till next week...too bad, I guess I'll have to wait a little longer to get the shipment. I'll post some pics after the install.

Well, the LEDs came in today. I went ahead and installed the puddle lights, license plate lights, and door lights. All of those look good.

My only issue with the puddle lights is that all the LEDs (9 of them) point forward and not down. There is a reflector in the housing, but it does not get completely utilized due to the way the LED bulb is set up. If the LED was like the license plate ones and pointed out the side, then it would spray a lot more light down to the ground. I'll check it tonight after the sun goes down...maybe it is indeed enough afterall.

I had ordered the brake light LED bulbs as well. I installed one of them (driver's side) so as to compare it with the stock incandescent bulb (passenger side). When compared to stock, the LED does not put out NEAR enough light to be a SAFE brake light. I ended up pulling it and replacing it with the stock bulb. Not near as cool as having LEDs in the brake lights, but a heck of a lot safer. Like I said earlier, the sun is still up here so I am fighting ambient light, but brake lights should still be visible in the daytime. At night, maybe they're adequate.

I thought that I ordered the reverse lights, but I ended up getting 4 of the brake light bulbs. Oh well, now I have to send back 4 bulbs instead of just 2.

For anyone interested in doing the brake lights...be warned. They do look cool, but they just aren't enough to be considered safe in the daytime. If anyone has questions as to my experience, feel free to send them my way.

Randy, I believe you're ordering the wrong bulbs. this is what you will need for your puddle lights : www.autolumination.com/906.htm Just scroll down to the first set of bulbs and that's what you need. I've been running these in my puddle light for about 2 years and they are just as bright as stock. What you need is light hitting the reflector and this bulb emit light 360 degrees. you won't be dissapointed. and for the interior/door/license you will need these: www.autolumination.com/194.htm and scroll down to the 5th set of lights. I wish I knew how to post it so the image would come up but I don't. let me know.

excuse me guys.....but what are "puddle lights"? I ordered 3 festoons (2 for the dome & 1 for the cargo)
2 pairs (1 light per door) for the doors
2 pairs (1 per swivel) for the interior
1 pair for the license plate
did I miss something? am I supposed to have more LED's/lights? other than the vanity which they dont have in our size yet

Puddle Lights are lights on the bottom of the Side Mirrors to light up the ground next to the truck. I think that they are only on LE but they could be available on SE too for all I know.

everything that you're using I went thru but it wasn't enough light for my taste so I went with led bulbs emitting light 360 degrees. keep in mind that you will not get the same lumens as stock bulbs from leds but these are the closest. I also ran the same 921 bulb for the back up and am very happy with the light output.

There are some Cadillacs out there that have LED reverse lights stock. What is GM using in those reverse lights that are good enough to be considered stock? I've seen those Cadillacs in parking lots at night and their reverse lights seem to put out a lot of light. Anyone know???

no special wiring is needed for the regular brake light. the third brakes lights are already led from the factory. you will need load balancer for the turn signal lights.

Just as a side note: for anyone replacing their brake light bulb to led you should go with (red) led's not white. anytime you use led behing a red lense you should use red led bulbs. you can read about that on any site where you order your bulbs.
