I am probably beating a dead horse but this is a constant problem for me. I have been to my dealer 6 times because of the roof vibrating. They have settled on the fact that as long as it's vibrating but not making any noise that it's ok. Well it is making noise but apparently not for them. I have the sunroof and I think that most of the noise is coming from that area. They apparently contacted nissan about putting in the bracket per the dvd shaking tsb but nissan said no. I was on the road this weekend with the family some luggage and the dog. When the air suspension stiffens up it just gets worse. On some roads it seems the roof is gonna fall in. Not only does the noise concern me but all that movement can't be good for the wiring and all other parts that are getting shaken around. What the hell else can I do? Will contacting nissan help? I love everything else about the truck. This damn roof is just annoying, sounds like a piece of junk. I am real close to tearing someone a new one, again. Help!!!!

Check to see if you need to have the "Cabin Booming Noise" TSB done. That may help the roof vibrations.

Check your PM so I can send you the A/C FIle.

Try to get the roof bracket for the TSB you mentioned done on your dime. From what I was told the bracket is about $100 and installation is upto 3 hours. Really the installation is like 30 minutes I think according to the TSB...or you could do it if you could find some of the tools they use in the TSB.

I'm sure you've read my other thread on how I fixed the TSB fix so that it rides with very little vibration by adding a couple screws with some rubber gromets. (if not search through some of my recent post you should find it)

I have checked out your work, nice job. Glad to hear that you got yours under control.

Thats what ticks me off to no end. As long as this thing is under warranty I shouldn't have any out of pocket except for regular maintenance. Either Nissan or the dealer should pay for it, not me. It's obviously a problem or there wouldn't be 2 different tsb's. Buying the damn bracket is my last resort. It's really just the fact of the matter you know.

My dealer finally did the right thing and hooked me up with the bracket. Although I must say it's not really their fault. Nissan is the problem. Nissan refused to pick up the tab even though there is a known problem. Wow what a difference. My mada feels and sounds like a completely different vehicle. More like an 05 model. I am amazed at the difference it has made. Now my armada feels more like the vehicle it should have been. It's quieter and I don't feel every little bump in the road. Now after 12,000 miles the brake judder is starting to show up. Almost there!!! :amazing:

Congratulations, glad you finally got it.
An fyi for others who have a shaky headliner with the sunroof (maybe even those without) I noticed that the front two clips that are just before the rear controls (as you are looking at them) require a good push up to get them to lock in. It you push up firm and steady you can feel them lock in. I think that may of been part of the problem I had even after the bracket was put in. They weren't getting them snapped all the way. I noticed this when I was taking it down the last time that the same type of clips at the rear of the console were VERY solid, and the front didn't even seem to be holding when I took it down. When I put it up I paid attention and noticed they weren't locking in. Once I pushed up with a good amount of force on the corners of the bin next to the controls I felt them lock and it became very solid.
