I just purchased the chrome side moulding from Burtman's. I was just wondering, are they supposed to fit perfectly or are some modifications neccessary for them to fit.:confused:

They do not fit perfectly length wise, but the width is. My suggestion is to install from the center edge out to ensure the tips stick correctly. I found out the hard way and ordered a second set to correct my poor install.

Okay, The tips were my main concern, when I did a trail fit, the tips didn't seem to fit correctly. So, I 'll follow your good advice and start from the tip.

Just make sure they are flush on the non-arrow side for the best look. See mine:
