Hello Deryck67. Man your Armada is so PHAT.. I have an 05 Deep Brawn. I have 22's that I took off of my sequoia, but the RIMS don't fit.. So I have to get new ones. My tires are Pirelli 305/45/22 I see you have 22's. Hows the ride? Any rubbing? Removal of Mudflaps? Also I read that you have a feed for the DVD player going into the NAV? How did you do that, and does the NAV system still work.. Please give me a holler as SOON as you get this message PLEASE...

Thanks

Elda

Elda,

The ride with the 22's is defintely a bit rough, but that is to be expected. I had no rubbing issues at all and I kept the mudflaps on. I had a local shop run the DVD through the nav there is also a self install kit that has been talked about in this forum. If you look under interior mods or search on navigation you should be able to find it. The nav systems does still work, it is just a switch you flip on or off. Pretty cool....

Here is a pic of Da' Rig. Still to to install--->Nissan OEM bug guard, Volant CAI, Brushed aluminum and wood grain dash (similair to how the QX56 is done) New shifter and pedals.

Very nice & clean. Do me a favor thou, take a pic of the rims just b4 a wash; I'm curious to see how the mada's brake dust looks on 22'' shoes. I'm considering a gunmetal finish on some 22's.

How much did the shop charge you for the parts and labor to do the mod?

It's really not too bad. I wash it once a week so it nevers gets too much dust. With the chrome it still stays shiny from a distance. I will take a pic before the next wash.

I believe it was $600 for parts and labor. You can do it yourself if you go to

Did yout make any suspension mods for the wheels? looks just right.
I will be towing a 2005 X-star. How does it tow with it lowered?

I like it but I'm not a fan of 22+ rims and street tires on a part-time off-road vehicle. Just makes me feel like its a van, not an SUV. Sorry, but I like the rest. :D

I have looked at every wheel pic in this forum and I like the 22s better than the rest. But I also like a Lexus LX470 better than the Armada too if it wasn't for the money, but hey, that's just me. To each their own. Most of the Armada owners will never take theirs off road. I love that red color though. I have always like red trucks and white cars for some reason. That red doesn't look like the red brawn when I see it on a lot. The red and blue are my favorites on the Armada.

No suspension mods. The back isn't filles out as well as I would like but I think it still looks good.

22's to 24's fit on the armada with no mods. I still have my mudflaps and no rubbing.
