I've been running a JBA Evol exhaust on my Armada for almost a year now and just can't handle the sound anymore. It definately gave me a bump in power but the sound at higher RPM sounds like an old glass pack muffler. I've always preferred the sound of the 2 chamber Flowmaster to most other mufflers out there. Now they offer a Super 44 muffler they claim is the best to date.I'm thinkin of swapping the muffler and/or running duals out of the back instead of the single. I've also read that single exhausts produce more power in SUVs. I like it LOUD so drone is not an issue. What do you guys think?

Hi,
I've been running the Flowmaster 50 Series SUV muffler with dual tips for a little over 3 months now and I love it. It definately has the deep growl that I was looking for and is still fairly quiet in cabin. It does have a slight drone cruising at about 70 but its tollerable. Keep me updated on the status and if you get that new muffler.
Aloha!
i am thinking about the 70 series muffler. it says that it "fits" an '04 titan. do you guys know the center-to-center measurement on the dual inlet for the flowmasters?

I have the 70 series.
Simple install, no drone, sounds great on startup, pulling away, and when really stepping on it.
Wifey and two babies approved! :D

Well I got the Flowmaster Super 44 installed for an anniversary gift a couple of weeks ago. It seems to have a little more jump but I can't completely tell if it's just more noise. It is wicked LOUD!!!! Roars like a drag car. I love it. Don't even ask about drone. I like to drive up next to snooty soccer moms on their cellphones and ruin there conversation. Look back and they are *****in and rolling up their windows. I'll get some audio clips soon.

Single vs. double isn't the issue. Its how much flow and back pressure you get. This will be individual to each engine and each exhaust. Getting the right amount of flow is key. On ours though, single is true. The Gibson single seems to give the best or one of the best boosts overall in power vs. the others out there. But it is probably too quiet for you. I'd look at a flowmaster or Magnaflow.
