I am looking at adding 22's to my Armada. I had an 04 with 22's that looked like the Akuza Blades, but sold car and now need to replace the wheels on my 07. Please poll to help decide which would look the best.

My number one choice is the Incubus Origin.....If you mouse over the pictures it gives you the name of the wheel to assist in voting.

Also, looking for help on which tire to go with. 305/45 or 305/40. I know 40 is recommended, but I was thinking 45 for the bigger tire to fill the gap. Does it matter on the width of the wheel? The Incubus is a 9.5 inch and the Akuza is a 9 inch. Thanks for the help....

#4 looks alot like the ones Burtmans sells, see attached pic. I think those are 24's but you can get a good feel how they would look, I think they look good. If not #4 then my next choice would be #1

I like the way those look. I wasn't to sure about that style, but now I like.

I voted #1 also, but when I saw the photo that Doc attached, I like the way #4 looks. Since your going with 22"s, get the 305/45, it's more rubber for a smoother ride.

Just get what you like, later for what we like. It's your truck and your money. Just a note to ask, who says 305/40/22 is recommended? The object is to match your factory tires diameter and circumference as closely as possible. There should not be more than a 3% variance in either. You could have problems with your antilock braking and traction control when this is not abserved. The 305/45/22 is only a .61% difference in diameter while the 305/40/22 is a whopping 3.07% difference. Your speedo difference at 60mph will be read 61.8 with the 40 series and 59.6 with the 45 series. Another alternative is to go with a 295/45/22, but the selection is limited in that size. I know Nitto has a tire in that size and I think General Grabber also works. The ideal 22 is actually the 295/45/22 with only a .47% variance in overall diameter. Your speedo would read 60.2 when you are traveling at 60mph, hardly any difference at all. Don't skimp on the tires, the wheels look nice, but the your life could depend on the tires!
